Alternative Provision - Arts Award

Cathartic Arts CIC is an approved Alternative Provision provider for Hertfordshire County Council, delivering creative, person-centred educational opportunities for children and young people who benefit from learning outside of a mainstream setting.

We can support children and young people through EHCP and EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than At School) packages, providing bespoke programmes tailored to individual needs. As a registered Arts Award Centre, we deliver all levels of Arts Award, from Explore through to Gold, offering nationally recognised qualifications through Trinity College London.

We work with children and young people with a wide range of needs, including SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, mental health needs, and those requiring a more personalised approach to education. Support can be provided on an individual basis or in carefully matched small groups, with programmes designed around each child or young person's strengths, interests and outcomes. Sessions take place in our fully accessible creative workshop in Watford, providing a calm, inclusive environment where every child and young person can learn, create and thrive.

We welcome enquiries from schools, local authorities, professionals and families. To find out more about our Alternative Provision or discuss whether our service may be suitable, please contact us at admin@catharticcic.com.
