Adult Day Opportunities

At Cathartic, we believe creativity can have a powerful impact on wellbeing, confidence and independence.

Our Adult Day Opportunities provide inclusive, creative and sociable sessions in a welcoming and fully accessible studio environment in Watford. Through imaginative arts activities, participants are supported to build confidence, develop skills, form friendships and engage in meaningful creative experiences.

We are passionate about creating opportunities where every person feels valued, empowered and able to achieve, regardless of ability or previous creative experience.

Sessions are designed to support:

  • wellbeing and self-esteem
  • independence and confidence
  • social connection and communication
  • creativity and self-expression
  • personal growth and individual outcomes

All workshops are hands-on, adaptable and person-centered. Activities are tailored to the interests, strengths and support needs of the individuals attending, with materials, equipment and delivery adapted to maximize accessibility and independence.

Participants do not need to be naturally artistic to take part — our focus is on enjoyment, engagement and creating positive experiences in a supportive environment.
