At Cathartic, we believe creativity can have a powerful impact on wellbeing, confidence and independence.
Our Adult Day Opportunities provide inclusive, creative and sociable sessions in a welcoming and fully accessible studio environment in Watford. Through imaginative arts activities, participants are supported to build confidence, develop skills, form friendships and engage in meaningful creative experiences.
We are passionate about creating opportunities where every person feels valued, empowered and able to achieve, regardless of ability or previous creative experience.
Sessions are designed to support:
All workshops are hands-on, adaptable and person-centered. Activities are tailored to the interests, strengths and support needs of the individuals attending, with materials, equipment and delivery adapted to maximize accessibility and independence.

Sessions take place during term-time only at our creative studio in Watford and run for 3 hours.
Participants attending both Wednesday sessions are welcome to remain in the studio during the lunch period. Packed lunches are required and staff supervision is provided.
Cathartic’s Day Opportunities are an approved Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Service on the Ebrokerage system.
